Fantasies on Fifth is a terrible...

Fantasies on Fifth is a terrible club. I visited it on a Saturday evening, when any strip club should be at its best. But this club was bad, really bad. The majority of the dancers were quite fat (about 200 pounds), were badly scarred, or had massive stretch marks. In fact, in my short evening at Fantasies, I saw more stretch marks than I’d seen previously in my entire lifetime. The stage dances were dismal—there was no eroticism at all.

There was also an air of desperation about the place; it was clear that the dancers were only after the money. The girls were clearly not happy. And tipping a dancer $1 often resulted in the dancer collecting the tip and then immediately demanding another dollar for no apparent reason other than that she could. A few patrons were brave enough to try private dances, but it was easy to see that there was very little contact happening in the private dance area. Of course, considering most of the dancers at this place, that was probably a good thing.

And, as if all this weren’t bad enough, the few decent-looking girls in the place never even took off any clothes while on stage! Is it legal to call a club a strip club if the only girls you want to take their clothes off don’t?
