Working around the city's silliness

Visited Oasis for the first time in a good while. I rarely get out to the clubs anymore and even more rarely, that far north, but I had a meeting only 10 minutes from the club and decided to see what a Monday afternoon would be like. In the past, I've noted that this seems to be a regular's club with girls not circulating very much. I'm pleased to report that factor has improved some.

Forgot to mention earlier, but parking is free and there was no cover. They have a "valet" but I can't see why anyone would use it. Inside the club, I found a table towards the back, not too far from the restrooms and the back bar. There is also a stage in that vicinity. On this visit, the club had all three stages going for most of the time I was there. Dance sets are three songs and the girls have to use a prop...thus the title of my review. On this particular day, most of the girls were using fans for their "burlesque" props. A couple had some type of "wings" they wore. The stage against the wall, near the middle, had a "performance of body painting" The work was actually pretty impressive and it went on for a good 40-45 minutes. There was a tip bucket nearby but I don't know who pays for the artist or the dancer if they are part of the act.

As I mentioned, I haven't been since May, but the talent has improved some in terms of looks. I spoke to two dancers and one was new to the club coming from one of the closed clubs and the other had been there for about 3 years and was lamenting the influx of new girls. She said that a number of the new girls hadn't lasted very long because of the strictness of the scheduling and that they weren't making very good money with the regulars preferring the girls they knew and not too much contact being allowed.
