Mixed bag

Such a mixed bag, this place! Just a few years ago, this was THE hot spot in central Pennsylvania, with major feature performers every 1-2 weeks. Quality declined precipitously with a change of management, and for a while, it was rather skeezy, to say the least. New management in the last year has brought the quality up, but there’s still something that’s just off about the place. Most dancers tonight were beautiful, and I would have been happy with any of 5-6 girls for a private champagne-room dance, But the girl I ended up with gave me pretty much the lamest private dance I’ve ever had—a dance that was just too, shall we say, tender? Girl needs to learn to grind! Took me around 20 minutes to get any wood, and even that went away after just a few minutes. Boring!

Beyond that, though, there’s also something else that’s just off about this place these days. The DJ is kind of lame. There’s too much dead time between songs, as well as between dancers. That is, the music just stops, and whatever energy was in the air just dies. Also, back in the day, they used to have an employee to help the dancers pick up their tips from the stage floor when they were done. Not any more, which means there’s about 5 minutes of dead time while the girls scramble around stage picking up their own tips.

In sum, I think I would say that there is just no energy to this place these days. This club hasn’t figured out what it wants to be. There’s nothing distinctive here, no real identity. Not bad for seeing a few really hot girls totally naked, but overall, the experience was just underwhelming.
