Friday night

I was in St. Louis this past weekend and I ended up checking out Club Onyx on Friday night. I arrived around midnight, paid the $10 cover and was in after brief pat down. It wasn’t too crowded when I first arrived, however just about all of the limited seating options out on the floor were taken. I went to the main bar and ordered a D'usse for $7.

I was approached by a dancer after a few minutes at the bar and she began dancing for me right there on the spot. I’m not a huge fan of standing & tipping at the bar, so I suggested we go find a place where I could sit down and enjoy the show. To my surprise she asked if I wanted to do a private dance (I’ve been here a handful of times since they opened back in March & this was the first time any dancer offered a private lap dance). Out of curiosity I decided to take her up on her offer, so she led me to an area a bit left of the main entrance with a behind a wall with a few extremely small cubicle-like booths with a single chair and no curtains. She told me that dances were $20 per song. I agreed to get a couple since I liked her shape. Dances were just ok, she gave a nice grind and allowed my hands to roam a bit, but since the space was so cramped, I couldn’t get comfortable. I decided to stop after a couple of songs (one plus was the DJ played full length songs).

Given the lack of privacy and cramped space, I don’t see the possibility of any extras being offered, but who knows. After the dances I was able to find a seat at the smaller bar, ordered a another drink and enjoyed the talent. This club allows smoking of all kind, so you will see and smell both customers and dancers enjoying 420. It started to get really crowded after a while and that was my cue to call it a night.
