At least a better view
I visited the LS on a recent Friday afternoon for the first time in about 6 weeks. As a former “semi” regular (weekly) l was curious to see if the slow decline in quality and value over the past year was continuing.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that at least in the terms of dancer talent the situation had improved, at least for this particular Friday. There was about a 50/50 split between AA and white dancers, with improvement in both groups in my opinion. Certainly a broader choice of better proportioned and prettier woman. The “huge” problem that was becoming so common was not as evident, at least not on this visit. Two of the better looking and more interesting AA dancers there were long time rgulars Fancy, tall, slim, and relatively small breasted who is very good on the pole (in more ways than one) and Mariah, nicely proportioned with great natural breasts who also knows what she is doing in VIP. They are both worth spending time with as they can carry an interesting conversation. I spent my time on this day conversing with both of them. There was also a new AA who was very pretty with an excellent body, but I did not get her name. A couple of the white dancers were older regulars who I do not find attractive or interesting, but several of the new white women were better looking and younger. Unfortunately I did not hear their names or get a chance to talk to them. No Nadia or Jennifer on this day, which was fine with me.
Drinks remain overpriced, as at almost all similar establishments. A six ounce glass of wine cost $12, it was the best cab they have which isn’t saying much. Dancer mixed drinks are in $15 range, and beer for dancers was $10 I believe, so it doesn’t take long for the bar bill to grow larger than expected if you aren’t paying attention. And for some reason in the LS I have found in the past that virtually every dancer that sits down with you, for any length of time, expects you to buy them a drink. So unless you are comfortable saying no to drinks don’t let them sit down! From a service standpoint I recommend asking to sit in Jessica’s section. She is one of the most attentive waitresses I have seen in a strip club, is enjoyable to talk to, and will take good care of you. Treat her well. Once you get to know her she is also willing to give you some quiet and useful advice to help enhance your visit. Valet parking is still required (I think $7 but I always tip) and I don’t see that changing soon. No cover during the day and no booth toll, so that is a bonus. Interestingly there was very little if any smoke on this particular afternoon, and I observed only one customer and one dancer smoking at the bar (no Nadia and Jennifer contributed to this), but my sense is the smoke issue is still a potential problem most of the time.
