Meh!

This was my first visit to Shimmers in many months. It hadn't changed much. It still was in a fairly difficult to reach location just off 82nd and Foster Road. Parking lot was small, and the exterior of the building doesn't look like much. The interior though, looks fairly new and clean, with one stage and three curtained private dance rooms.

I didn't get a chance to use the rooms on this visit, but in the past I found them to be fairly private with no bouncer or camera issues. I came in looking for Ruby, who gives a very amazing private dance, but she wasn't there. There were three other dancers, one AA, one white and one Hispanic. None of them were dogs but none of them were what I was looking for. I ordered a cola from the large bar, watched one rotation and then left. I'll probably be back at some point to see if Ruby is working, but otherwise it's just another local Portland club, maybe cleaner than most. I would recommend to others a look see, and I've never experienced the evening entertainment.
