Make sure you ask around

This is my go to strip club in Detroit when I’m in town. Casual vibe, dancers aren’t pushy and management is friendly. I like that the club isn’t big or cavernous.

One thing is they charge $7 mandatory valet fee even if you park on the street and walk up and the the valet is not too nice about it because so many try to scam them claiming they didn’t drive. I always take an Uber there because I don’t like to drive after a few drinks and my Uber home has actually been pulled over by cops waiting for cars to leave the club. If the valet doesn’t see the Uber pull up he will ask to see your receipt. One time I didn’t like the way he asked—guilty until proven innocent—so I told him to get lost and called the manager who apologized and bought me a drink.

Anyway, I have usually found a dancer or two to have fun with downstairs. Recently I noticed that a few dancers will quote sky high prices that have no semblance of reality. Clearly they want to use it as a starting point for negotiation but I get sort of offended that they see me as a mark and cut it off. Ask around cause there is always someone who knows what the real going rate should be.
