Dependable

On a long trip north, I stopped at this dependable place, where the only surprises have been pleasant ones. You drive to covered parking, take off your hat (got to), step in, get your non-alcoholic drink, sit down. The darkness fades to a sight of several angels and the sound of a whisper in your ear. The music is a familiar mix of classic rock and r&b, not annoying. At 40/per/n or 150/10 min it's far from cheap, but heaven never is. The number of gals this time was - I think 4-5, and I stayed long enough to see 3 in the back. Just a few dances each and I was done. Could still hear that whisper as I continued, smiling on my journey north.
