First Visit to Riley's

I have never been to Riley’s but heard from one of my favorites from Mardi Gras that she was working there. When I walked in, she was at the bar and greeted me with a kiss and a hug.

I knew it was going to be a good day.

But I digress. Riley’s is like an old neighborhood bar, except it has strippers. It has a great vibe. Beer and cocktails were “normally” priced for a strip club ($5 beer, $8 cocktails), but the bartender was very friendly and personable. She was on the spot whenever you needed anything. There were 5 girls in the bar and there was no dancing. I could tell that it was a locals/favorites kind of place. If I didn’t see my girl there, I would have probably been waiting a long time for one of the other girls to come by and say hello. This didn’t happen to me, of course, but I could see other men there drinking their beers by themselves. So the “negative” about the place “might be” that it caters to those who already have a steady dancer they see there. Much like Tattletales.
