World Class Thug’s Club

After spending a couple of hours at Thee Dollhouse, I walked across the street to check this place out before heading back to the hotel. Wow—what a difference. The Dollhouse is upscale, mostly white spinner dancers, and mostly white middle class customers. Stars is—well, it bills itself as a “World Class Gentlemen’s Club.” “World Class Thug’s Club” would be more like it.

I don’t remember the cover, but I do remember the TSA level pat down by the beefy bouncer. Inside, the main club consists of in large room with runway stage in the middle. There are tables and booths near the stage, but they all had reserved signs on them and, although it was late, they were almost all empty. A couple of steps up from the stage area there is a second level that rings the stage with the bar and additional unreserved seating.

I went to the bar but there was no place to sit because the reserved signs had forced everyone into the second level. A waitress saw me looking around and quickly offered to bring me a drink. I ordered a beer for $6.
