After spending two days and two evenings at Treasures, I felt I had to sample a couple of the other clubs in Houston. Most reviewers say that there is Treasures and then there is the rest, way behind in second place or farther back. This opinion is accurate, as far as I can tell. I saw maybe one girl at Michael's that would have gotten my attention if she had been at Treasures. But she had on those silly pasties, because she was not licensed, and she told me that she heard that they do "bad things" at Treasures. That's all I needed to hear. The reason I go to strip clubs is to do "bad things." The girls seemed to be a lot friendlier all around than at Treasures, but that alone does not make it a better club, in my humble opinion. I also got the idea that high mileage dances are rare. So after spending about 45 minutes talking to a few dancers and scoping out the general propects, I left to check out the Colorado Bar and Grill down the street, which had a few more lookers but was pretty slow for what I was looking for. There is only one top club in Houston, and that is Treasures. Michael's, at least during the time I was there, I would not consider to be a top club in many other cities I have been to, not even in Southern California, which, in my opinion, is a strip-club wasteland.
