It felt like a retirement home

I was waiting to meet up with one of my pals, but he got caught up at the airport and so I decided to spend some time here in the meantime. I had a "free" admission coupon off of their website, but I still had to pay $11. It turns out there is an "entertainment" fee. So without the coupon I would've had to pay $22 JUST for admission! The inside of the club was spacious and well cleaned, yet it felt very very empty. The DJ must've been a robot or something because I have never heard someone that monotonous. There were no more than 10 girls working the floor and even then I got approached by the same person 3 times. The girls were primarily in the late 20s - early 30s. Most of them were fairly attractive. There are TVs placed alongside all of the walls that play advertisements on a constant loop. The stage shows were alright, but everyone else there seemed just as uninterested as I was. In fact one of the guys next to me fell asleep!! After about 30 minutes I decided that this place was just too dead and I decided to take off and go somewhere else. I got one dance in before I took off and it was average. Nothing mind blowing, but definitely not a bore either. I just wish they would spice up the vibe in that place because it feels like a retirement home in there. And this was on a Friday night in the summertime!! This place has potential!

PS: The doorman was kind of annoying. I asked if I could go out to my car to get something which was parked literally 15 feet outside of the front door and he wouldn't allow it. I would have to pay the admission fee just to go back in. Ridiculous. I ended up just going out and leaving.
