First visit to the Roxy (dayshift review)

So after a year of regular clubbing in Fort Worth at nearby clubs I finally decided to try out the Roxy. I went on a Monday afternoon around 2pm. All of my clubbing is during dayshift so this review and scoring is based on that experience. From what I have read in other reviews this club is much different late at night.

The Roxy is a full nude BYOB club located right off of loop 820 in North Fort Worth. It is within one mile of both Bucks Wild and Bucks Cabaret. The club is really tiny in comparison to other DFW clubs with one small main room, one main stage and a couple satellites. Cover is $5 and then an additional $10 to get a wristband to get into the VIP area.

The club was surprisingly well kept up. The chairs, upholstery and general quality was really good. To be honest I was expecting it to be a bit of a total dive and it absolutely is not. However I was not a fan of the vibe. During the day the club is definitely going for a "nightshift" experience during the day. The music was loud enough you have to scream to hear anything plus a lot of annoying laser lights. I would imagine those who prefer nighshift would be right at home here.
