Not the Mons I once knew, but the party isn't over.

I went to the famous Mons recently just on a whim passing through and I must say, things have changed. This isn't one of those back-in-yesteryear 1995 reviews either, as I only discovered Mons a little over 10 years ago.

The building is the same, the jukebox is still alive and well, and due to local laws you still can't get drinks here. And when I visited, the place I remembered going to to grab a bottle doesn't seem to be there anymore. It has been a while though so it's possible it's just not where I remember it being (which was basically across the street from Mons). I also noticed during my visit that Joe's pizza place next door also seemed to be closed at a strange hour. Inquired about it and found out that apparently it has closed up shop as well. I neglected to ask about the liquor store but I'm fairly certain that's gone as well. Anywho...

As for the club itself, anybody who has ever been before will know how business is conducted here. Newbies, you're probably in for much more of a treat than I found as typically a couple-of-times-a-year regular (though I've slacked on my visits recently). Let me explain.
