Short on talent makes for short visit
Decided to try Bogarts on a Wednesday afternoon - arrived about 430pm. The place was not as smoky as usual, I have learned to find a seat where at least on both sides of me the patrons have drinks but no ashtrays. Bought a $6.75 beer after paying the $5 toll. Shortly after sitting down Didi approached, she’s in the GILF range, mid 50s, slim but not a spinner by any means. She pushed me hard for a VIP visit, I resisted in hopes of improving my choice. She then asked me to buy her a drink, I did and she told me she can’t drink alcohol because she has to blow to get her truck to start. She failed that twice recently and they extended her probation for another year. Just more stripper drama that wasn’t of much interest to me. Didi got called upstage and with her was the well reviewed Carrie, my first encounter. She is as advertised and peeled off the bottoms to the disgust of the dancer who had plopped down next me. This new gal didn’t introduce herself, so i don’t have a name. She was also around 50 with large bolt ons. I bought her a $8 or so Ref Bull at her request and then was bombarded w more tales of woe and how now she has to do this to make it through. Onviously, not the energetic introduction that might get my engine interested in spending alone time w her. She apparently heard her name as next on stage so she left me to use the dresssing room before her stage show. As Carrie and Didi finished, they were both scooped and my review of the rest of the room told me to cut my losses and head to the Cricket. I followed reason and did just that. I have found Bogarts to be quite inconsistent. When I have limited time and want a quick bit of fun, it can be effective or dreadful. When I see dreadful, I try to move on quickly.
