Crappy facilities, but at least one great dancer.

First time at Tropical Lei--went on a random Sunday night. The following Monday was a holiday, so there were (presumably) more dancers than usual. The facilities are...lacking. The club is small, narrow, and long, with one small-ish stage at one end of the narrow rectangle. Couches and tables are sprawled throughout, but are setup in such a way that the dancer on stage isn't directly facing most of the tables. Most seats are to the sides of the stage, so if the place is crowded, you could find yourself pretty far away from the stage or with your view blocked. On one side of the stage are high chairs. On the other side of the club, near the entrance, are some couches near the VIP area.

As many have already commented, regular dances here are strange in that they're in full view of other PLs. Shortly after I got to the club, I saw the famous Layla and asked her to come sit with me. She's well-described--young, blonde, pretty, and with an incredibly fit body. Tits are fake, but everything else looks and feels real (and sculpted). Layla is incredibly friendly and can hold a great conversation. After a few couch dances and some interesting chit-chat, we proceeded to the VIP area. The booths are small and cramped, and it's $40 per song, with a 3-song minimum. I don't like this system, as it forces you to pay attention to how many songs have elapsed during your dance. My dance with Layla lasted a bit more than 3 songs--which I didn't quite notice--so I ended up paying the house more than I would have liked. But, without getting into too much detail (read other reviews, if you must), a VIP with Layla is fantastic and worth your time and money.
