Sophie’s - the building is looking good, but not the girls

I found myself with free time in Huntsville on a recent afternoon. Typically, I would have visited the Cherry (the Pony rules at night, but the Cherry is still great in the daytime), but it’s closed Mondays. No problem. I’ll just try Sophie’s across the parking lot. On the outside, it still looks like the old Visions. Inside, though, is starting to look ... actually nice, and not like a total dive. There’s attractive wood paneling throughout, and they’ve moved the bar across the room, where it now looks quite nice. The bathroom (can’t believe I’m saying this) is spectacular. It’s easily the nicest strip club bathroom in Huntsville now. They seem to be working on something in the corner where the bar used to be, maybe a posh VIP or party room? We’ll see soon, I guess. Otherwise, the stage is the same, and so are the uncomfortable chairs. Can we not get some soft couches where we can canoodle with the dancers? The private dance area also appears mostly unchanged. And unfortunately, the dancers are also about the same. I watched the whole rotation and no one caught my fancy. There were some pretty, full-chested AA dancers, but that’s not my thing. One girl approached me at my high top table, grabbed my crotch, and asked if I was ready for some fun. So, I’m guessing some hands-on activity was available, but I still declined. I’ll have to check in again later, to see if the renovations attract some prettier talent. Right now, all the best ones are still working the Pony, and it’s the dancer quality that drives everything in my book.
