The Palomino was sold in the past 2 months. The new owner is doing renovations to both the club and the line up of girls. I was there last week and the girls were between 5 and 9s with most being 7 or above. The downstairs was closed off and I was told it will open on July 7th with a new stage, carpet, chairs, the works. They are keeping the club red, so it will still have that burlesque feel. The manager, or possibly new owner I couldn't tell, was moving around a lot making sure the customers had everything they wanted, girls, drinks, what-not. Its good to know the new owner gets to keep the "grandfathered" lincense to have both alcohol and full nudity. Even though the manager was all over, he never came back into the lap dance area and the bouncers stayed out as well. The "private rooms" are just two chairs with thin mesh fabric around them. But even though other people in the VIP area can see whats going on, the dances are very liberal. You get the idea.

I paid $20 to get in. $6 per drink. $16 dollars to have a girl drink with me (waste of money). Then the dances are $20 topless (some girls don't do this due to their costume being one peice, but who would get a topless dance anyway?) $40 for a nude dance. $100 for 3 songs nude. And what they don't tell you until you're already worked up is $250 for a half hour. And talking to the girl before hand about what kind of tip she'd like will make any of the dances BETTER. There is an ATM machine downstairs and if no taxis are around the bouncer will call a cab company.

When I arrived around 9 PM, the girls out numbered the customers. But everyone was friendly and accepted a polite "no thank you" or "maybe later." Around 11 PM more girls came in and most of them were 7s to 9s. That's also when more customers came in, but there were still plenty of girls for the number of guys. The girls did a nude 3 song dance on a small stage and only looked for tips from guys sitting directly around the stage. I was at a table with a great view of the stage, but never got asked for a tip. The girls come around regularly to see if you'd like to get a lap dance or have a drink with them. Lap dances seem to be how they make their money and they are good at giving them. But again they were never pushy. I was told the place stays open until 5 AM, but I didn't make it take late to find out.
