It's been a while
I have not been in Tens for a long time. It used to be one of my "go to" bars in the early 2000's. then came a shooting in the parking lot after the management started playing heavy rap and gangsta rap, which drove out the older customers. lets face it, college kids and bluecollar workers do not have the cash that older guys have and can spend lots. Of course you had wiggas. pimp and sellers take over and it was not long before the police made its presence known, all the good dancers left and it became a wasteland. They still had a good afternoon crown, but people went elsewhere in the evening. About 7 years ago the place had a short turnaround, the made private cubes upstairs but privacy was limited, but daytimes and the right girl good time could be had, but it was sporadic. After limping along for a few years, the clubs has started showing signs of life.
One of the "nasty" dancers form another club was spotted here and so was her friend, just these two would make a day out of it, and it they are present, hold on to your wallets as they will drain them, as well as other things (in a good n' nasty way). I cant vouch for this club completely yet. I hear it can get boring and the ladies are on the older side (this place used to be packed with coeds from the Uof A) but at least the nasty factor has taken a step up
