Follies is the best. I go often when I'm in Atlanta. Too often. Its easy to have a good time and not much to complain about. If you're going with friends to see a show, the ceilings are not high enough for real pole tricks, but hang out at the bar and you'll enjoy drinks and women. If you're looking for lap dances, you've come to the right place. Go to the couches or try to get a table against the mirrored walls. Everyone is hustling in there - security, the bartenders, the door staff, the dancers, the patrons, the bathroom guys - but that's the game and part of the charm. Dances are $10 all day. Day shift is from open at 12 or 1 to 8pm. Night shift now ends at 2am except sunday at midnight due to interference from the city of brookhaven. Hating. Drinks are 5.25 for a beer and 8.25 for most liquor, some is more. The bartenders will almost always keep your quarters so don't act up. Also, tip them. Day shift drinks are poured heavier and the bartenders remember who tips. Think about it as paying $12 for a double and you'll be happier about it. Day shift is mostly slim women, white, latin and black. I've heard the latin women are cubans, in my experience its more Dominicanas but maybe its 50-50 now. Night shift is more ATL style, thicker black girls, and curvy latin women. There will be a couple of slim women at night but if that's your thing get there before 7. Not gonna always be as pretty or stunning as the Magic City Onyx type dancers but they wont be far behind and you can get the follies treatment - high quality, high mileage dances. YMMV from girl to girl but if you pay attention you will typically see what you'll get from girl to girl. Or by the end of the 2nd song you'll know. Again, the hustle factor is in the building. Its not gonna be every girl but some of the girls will try to get a few extra 20's out of you at payment time. Its 10 dollars a song, period and if you need help counting the DJ ALWAYS counts songs in sets of 3 and says "this is the 1st/2nd/3rd song in the set". They also last 3 minutes. So there, don't say I never helped you. As always, the easiest way to avoid this is to pre-pay but thats not always fun and you dont always get the full experience if she's under the impression youre getting one dance. I guess you could go 20 by 20. Again, not always an issue but... I'd say half of the girls will do something like, ask for 60 instead of 40 or 50. "Its 20 more baby" is a common saying. If she was worth it, give it to her. Don't be a cheap ass at Follies. A smaller percentage are going to try the shit out of you and hope you're drunk and tell you 2x. How you handle that is up to you. I'm not sure the VIP cost. I've heard $150 and Ive heard more. I think it goes up at night. With the right girl you don't even have to go to VIP. Offer her a drink. Have a party. I've had some special experiences at Follies and none were in VIP. The other day I had a perfectly curvy perfectly thick Dominican named Anna or Indiana or something. I actually didnt expect high mileage because I've seen her do the pretty girl air dance and make good money because she's so perfectly thick but I wanted to dance with her. The first 4 were kinda chill then she left to go to the bathroom. I paid her instead of waiting. Later that night she saw me and made me go with her to the back couches. Great dances. Life changing. I'm planning a trip to the DR right now they were so good. There's a tall chocolate girl with dimples who's in and out of vip all night. You'll know her if you see her. She too does great dances. Extras, ITC and OTC vary widely from girl to girl. Everything is available but not from everybody if that makes sense. Bottom line is, you're at Follies because you know you want good lap dances. So find a few girls and get them.
