Hard to get a drink

Locals type of place, about a 10-12 seat bar next to an elevated platform with a pole. 3 girls working, all sitting with customers. Took a seat at the bar and waited. And waited, and waited some more. One of the customers said bartender was in the cooler. Someone else said she was downstairs. Sat thru 6 songs. Turns out bartender was in the bathroom. Doing what I don’t know. When she finally returns she walks past me four times. I gave up and left. Never got a beer but my clothes smelled like an ashtray when I got in my car.
