Beware the Clique

I use this club (and/or Bare Elegance LAX) as an expensive treat to myself after a financial windfall: hot girls, nice club experience, but too expensive total cost to justify regular patronage. Daytime damage here is $10 admission, 2 mandatory $7 drinks, and $50 nude lap dances -- longer than typical songs and in a private curtained room with a bed-couch, but still.... Typically a lot of strippers for daytimes, at least five and sometimes eight plus. And most to all of the dancers are high-end lookers with good customer service/sales skills. Regular, almost constant stage dances. No drink push, unobtrusive staff; main management flaw is consistent refusal to answer phone or provide any sort of roll call by social media or otherwise. Music lower volume and lower-key than many clubs. Vibe befits the older, well-heeled Newport Beach PLs who frequent the place. Girls know and honor their regulars. Mileage available, but prices high.

The trick I learned this visit came from paying attention to the girls sitting around. There's a gaggle who sit together, chatting and phone-focused, only splitting off to go on stage (where they solicit rail birds for dances) or to make drive-by pitches to PLs sitting off-stage. They'll sit down and chat if you express interest, but keep it very "let's do a dance"-focused. My experiences with these girls has been pretty uniform: you get a dance after some explicit inducements, they spend a song working you up with one dance that's really good but barely skirting OC laws, then drop a ridiculously-priced Golden Pussy Syndrome menu on you while your dick is hard and discussing/negotiating burns another $50 song. Not technically ROBs since they don't make price promises beforehand and they WILL perform: you just have to pay up. Now, the dancer quality here may justify a higher price than COI, but the demands are absurd like $500/300 (on top of dance costs!) for UHM/VHM. And it's always the same procedure: I've read and believe there's a price-fixing agreement among this group, at least as to starting point and possibly as to range. By contrast, there's usually 2-3 dancers who instead sit by themselves and/or more actively work the room; I have not had the same experience with them; still pricier than COI but no BS, down to business and I can leave feeling happy feeling money well spent.

Unfortunately I like testing fresh meat, and therefore haven't learned from the lesson I lay out above. Two most recent visits led to unhappy endings with Goldie and Rose: nice physical dances with very hot girls, but then it's ruined by UCSE ("used car salesman" experience) which is sorta the opposite of GFE. And for some reason they get all pissy when you laugh, refuse to negotiate and abruptly end the dance.... Good thing I'm infrequent and anonymous looking, or I'd probably get blackballed by this cabal. Unfortunately, the quality here keeps drawing me back, hoping to strike gold. Maybe after next quarter's dividend payments....
