Yellow rose

9 of us visited Austin for a bachelor party. Austin in general is amazing, only bad experience was our trip to the Yellow Rose. We are a clean cut, good group of guys that were having fun and chose to spend over $10,000 as a group on bottle service, dances, drinks, tips, etc. Very generous and successful bunch but after a few hours there apparently us being the main crew w/VIP service dropping a decent amount of money wasn't enough. We didn't find out until after the fact that several of us were ripped off - extra drinks, extra line items, extra tips, etc. Worst of all, they said one of the guys' credit cards wasn't running through - he was charged $984 on his tab which we have proof of payment now through his bank - yet they wouldn't let us leave the club after spending over 10 grand until his tab was settled. I took their word for it since we were there a while and spent good money, but apparently I shouldn't have trusted them. I paid his tab for him only to find out that he was already charged after we got home. They lied about it and then even worse wouldn't refund the double payment. Pure scum and lousy way to do business. We spent far more money in there than anyone else and yet they still STOLE from several people in our group. I'm sure they figure 9 out of 10 people won't complain due to wives/girlfriends, or company write-offs (which the girls mentioned several times - "just write it off" even though we were all there on our own dime, not a companies - and even then, why is it okay to rip off a business?) so its likely worth the gamble for them to be shady, but again stealing from your customer base is pure filth and shouldn't be tolerated. We had a good time there until we found out that we were lied to and stolen from. We disputed with our credit card companies once we found out we were charged several thousand over our original tabs. Shady staff and ownership, beware!

If you go here, pay with CASH ONLY...DO NOT USE CREDIT CARD as you will likely get STOLEN from in several ways (extra items, extra tips, and in our case a whole extra tab they double dipped on and refused to make right). We did have a good time at Palazio the other night. No issues with tabs there and the talent was surprisingly really good. We did have fun at the Yellow Rose prior to realizing we were being stolen from. Go to the Palazio for better talent and especially if you use a credit card.
