Dead as a door nail

I was in Orange County for work and had time to kill in the evening, so I thought I would check out the local talent. When I got to the club, the parking lot had a few cars, but i wasn’t overly crowded. Given how overly crowded everything is in Southern California, I *THOUGHT* that not being too crowded, so I paid a steep $20 cover fee and found out I was very wrong.

Apparently all the employees park in front to make it appear that there is some life in the club. I know that late Tuesday afternoon aren’t exactly prime time, but there weren’t any other customers in the place. Diet cokes cost $10 a piece, and I was getting similarly ridiculous prices for lap dances. I didn’t take any of the dancers up on their inflated dance prices, I just chalked it up to a lesson learned. From now on I will be avoiding California strip clubs while on travel, and making up for lost time in Texas clubs or back home in Arizona.
