Cricket afternoons

I had previously tried the Cricket on a Wednesday afternoon and was so disappointed in the talent that I went to Bogarts, which i reviewed and as fellow visitors know is a total dive. The Silver Criket is perfect venue for my tastes. Not too fancy, no valet, cover or bathroom trolls and no smoking in the main dance area. At so many of the other joints, you can’t help but smell like an ashtray after 30 minutes inside. At the cricket, you can get a “bucket”of beer, that’s two beers, for $11 (at least that’s the import price). The crowd at Cricket during the afternoons trends older and on my Wednesday afternoon visit, it was almost all gents in their senior years. I not far behind, but being one of the younger ones that afternoon might have worked to my advantage (or maybe it was that I looked like an easy mark). In any event, I was visited by several ladies shortly after arriving and quickly set my focus on one pretty, thin, 24 year old whose name totally escapes me. She was from a town in Ohio about 100 miles away and works 3 or less days a week because she has a restaurant job as well. She quoted $.4and I didn’t want to miss out so I countered w $120 and we went to the back. No time limit and it was very pleasant. I don’t do FS, but that was definitely available.

With less than an hour invested and two beers in me, I left a happy fellow without the reek of smoke covering my clothes.
