This review is of a visit to Brass Rail on Saturday August 18, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:15 pm. Prices quoted are in Canadian dollars. I

walked a bit more than a mile from my hotel near Union Station to the club north on Yonge street. This area is a bit. sketchy but not real bad. Walking back after 11 there was enough foot traffic on this Saturday night that I didn’t feel threatened. Alternatively there were half a dozen cabs waiting outside the club when I left. One could probably get to the club on the subway, there is a station at the intersection of 2 lines only about a block away.

The club is a rather long narrow building with the entrance on Yonge Street in one of the short sides. Right next to the entrance is a flight of stairs going up to their higher end club called Upper Brass. As you enter the bar is on the left and the stage on the right. The stage branched out in a kind of Y shape on the end near the entrance allowing for more perimeter for stage side seats. The stage was rather higher above the tip rail than most and had 2 poles. There were chairs around the stage and beyond the bar there were 3 rows of tables and chairs. All the chairs had been placed facing the stage. At the far end of the stage was stairs to the upper level down which the dancers made their entrance. The lap dance spaces were at either end of the building.
