Not everyone's cup of tea, fun to be had

Visited this establishment last week, and having been there before I hoped to have a better experience after knowing how to navigate the place and what to expect. First off, it is in a strip mall type location among other establishments, not difficult at all to find. The place seems to be in good condition but it is really just basic, no frills type. This is strictly an after hours club. Don't even bother arriving before 1:30am. I just wish they would do a better of making that clear, but there is not really a website for the club, only a Facebook and social media, where they have advertised as being open at 11pm. Well I made that mistake last time, but on this night I arrived around 1:45am and it seemed as if people were only beginning to trickle in. Security makes you wait in line outside for a bit, and then they check your ID outside as well as pat you down. Inside the entrance lobby, there are signs for different prices, however each time i've been here I was told there is only a basic cover available for $20. There is VIP admission for $40 which grants you access to another part of the club, but they state that is for "private party" only and I have not been able to get that. Regardless, $20 cover is very steep as it is given other clubs in Raleigh that are much less, or that have membership cards for their customers.

Once inside the club, you can see it how it is just bare bones, almost like a small warehouse with a pole at the center (no stage), and arm chairs around it. Then more seating along the wall, as well as a bar type area toward the back with a a pool table and a couple of VIP dance booths. The VIP section is closed off and you need a certain armband to enter there. It is BYOB (no liq; beer, wine, champagne etc only) , but be aware there is a charge for this too, I believe determined by the amount of alcohol you bring. There seemed to be several girls working on this Saturday night, but there is not much variety. Almost all AA, a majority who are thick, some decent looking ones and a few rough ones as well. Girls were trickling in and out of the VIP area, at times there were no girls in the main area nor dancing on the pole. I took a seat and one girl approached and asked if I'd like a dance, but for the most part you will have to initiate all interactions or tip them while they are on stage. Music is all hip hop/trap. If you decide to do a VIP booth dance with a girl, that will cost you another $30 just for the booth, and does NOT include what you give the girl. You are expected to tip them separately while they dance for you and it seemed they expect to get as much as they can out of you. However I did find these dances to be more enjoyable, they are more private and have a comfortable couch. I do not remember the name of the girl I talked to this evening, but she was a tall slim light skinned AA girl, nice body and several tattoos. She did seemed to get into it, grinding passionately on me. These dances last for 3 songs, which go by rather quickly and afterward I felt like I probably spent too much for what I could have gotten the same thing at another club for less. At this time there was more of a crowd in the club, and more girls out. I did not see any others that interested me and I left shortly thereafter; granted I was somewhat exhausted because this was probably about 3am.. but what can you do when these are their hours lol.

I will echo what previous reviewers have said about this place, it may not be your cup of tea. A quick Google search of the establishment brings up news articles of people being shot outside of this club this year. It seems as they have beefed up security, and while it felt like a rough type of crowd visits this place, I did feel safe indoors. I will also say that the staff is not really helpful, and at times they did seemed rude and took their sweet time to do things. I may visit here again if I find myself in the mood on a late night or perhaps after a night out in town. Overall it is expensive, but some fun is to be had if you have been here before and know what you're doing. I hope this review helps on how to navigate this club, as it is probably much different that your typical strip club experience.
