Casual environment - worth going

I went twice, once on a Friday at 3am, and once on a Saturday after midnight. Upon showing ID at the front door, you go up a flight of stairs where you check in and pay cover. I think the cover was $10, but I don't remember exactly, because upon getting to the top of the stairs, I was immediately distracted by girls walking around naked and topless - it seemed like they were going back and forth to their changing room. The place was hopping late on Friday night, because this is the only club that's open after hours. Saturday after midnight might have been a tad less busy.

The club had a casual vibe - there were dancers playing pool or just sitting and chatting among themselves. In the middle of the club there is a big stage, normally with two dancers at a time. There is a bar - no alcohol, but at least bottled water and sodas were not egregiously expensive - $4 per drink. Patrons who sit around the stage are expected to tip at every song (as the DJ constantly reminded everyone). To the side of the main stage there are 3 very small "stages"/tables surrounded by couches - occasionally dancers would claim those stages and dance for a while on them, giving patrons a more up-close experience than the main stage. But in most cases I found these dancers less attractive than others who were roaming the club.

There were probably around 15 dancers, most in their mid-20s. The vast majority were white (mainly American and some Eastern European), but there were a few Latinas and AAs. Dancers ranged from about 6-9 in terms of looks. There were a good number of dancers with a "girl next door" type look, which I appreciated considering Portland tends to have more "alt" looking girls. One of the things that surprised me was the wide range in dancer attitudes. On one end of the spectrum, there were a few (but not many) dancers who proactively introduced themselves and tried to encourage a private dance - although they were very gracious if I told them i wasn't interested. On the other end of the spectrum, there were a few girls each night who clearly had no desire to be at the club. On Friday night, I saw a very cute petite blonde who clearly didn't look happy - tried to chat her up, but she had no interest and left shortly afterward. On Saturday night, I hung out with a cute curly redhead with great boobs. Though I would have liked a private dance, she didn't seem to be in a good mood, so we had a nice time talking, and she left after her stage set.
