Earlier this year, the owner of this club passed away. There has been lots of speculation about what might happen. Rumor has it that the license is up for renewal in August. But since then an article in City Pages mentioned some sort of agreement for the bar to stay open until early 2019, giving the owners time to potentially work things out with the city for an extended future.
