Recent visit

I stopped in after a visit to Centerfolds the free entry offer for having a wristband. The door girl took my ID to scan into a machine and switched the wristband I was wearing from Centerfolds for a Mirage one. The regular price is $7 week nights / $10 Friday/Saturday nights with free admission, and I think the membership fee is $5 for the typical required membership. Once inside, the bar is on the left and the main floor is a bit lower with a satellite stage near the bar area. From what I gathered, the satellite stage is open access for any dancers who want to go up there and dance on it, but they have to keep their tops on.

During my visit there were probably more dancers there than customers - it looked like 10-15 dancers and 8 or 9 customers. The dancers here were pretty friendly and a couple approached to introduce themselves. A noticeable difference between Mirage and Centerfolds is that the Mirage dancers mentioned the hot tub as their first sales attempt. It's too rich for my blood ($700 / 30 minutes?), and the next pitch was for the red room, which starts at something like $250. Overall, the dancers were attractive, and fit the bill for what I would expect for an upscale place.

One of the dancers was my type and friendly enough to give a trial run, so I got the 2 for $60 dance. The 2/$60 booths are right outside where the VIP host is stationed at a cash register. He had a tip jar with some cash in it, so I dropped in a few bucks since it seemed like the customary thing to do. The booths have a sheer curtain separating them from the cash register area and the light inside the booths is surprisingly bright. The dance was so/so, but is a decent deal for Greensboro for a two-way dance. I had gotten a feel for the club which was the goal of the evening, so I left after the dances.
