Bring a Fat Wallet

Second visit to Detroit, but my first time at Flight Club. I knew from reviews that this place would be pricey, and that was certainly the case. Visited on a Friday night from 9:30-midnight. Mandatory valet parking was $8.00, cover was $15.00, and bottled water was $9.00 (plus a buck tip), so I was out $33.00 before I even saw a nipple. So be it.

This is a very, very nicely-appointed club. It has kind of a weird layout, but with five stages on the main floor you're never far from topless dancers. I sat at the bar, which has one of the stages on it, and all the girls make the rounds to all the stages, so I got up-close looks at all of them. There were at least 30 girls, and they ranged from a couple of 5s (which I was surprised to see in a club like this) to some stunning 9s. Most were in the 7-8 range, with a mix of black and white. Initially I surprised to see (almost) only girls with very small boobs. I mostly go for the petite girls, so I was OK with that, but real boob lovers would have been very disappointed. However, more girls kept showing up and there was greater variety and, seemingly, something for everyone. For the most part, the girls were stunningly gorgeous.

The main stage has a weird, large, circular platform in the middle of it which, while I was there, raised up once, elevating the girl on it more than ten feet in the air. The stage also has a car (a Corvette, I think) suspended from the ceiling, and once while I was there they lowered it and two dancers simulated lesbian sex while it was lowered and raised, lowered and raised, for a few songs. It was never lowered all the way, and because of that it was hard to see the girls from the main floor (and hard to be sure it was a Corvette), so I sort of didn't see the point unless you're viewing it from the balcony above. Meh.
