The Bartender was Better than the Dancers

One night, I was feeling a little down and decided to blow off some steam with on the Block. I usually hang at Chez Joey, but I was feeling a little adventurous and decided to give Oasis a try.

I was a little early, however, as no dancers were working despite the club being open. There was, however, this beautiful girl behind the bar. An easy 8-9, especially compared to most girls on the block. Since it was slow, we struck up a conversation and I found myself really wishing she were on the other side of the bar.

Unfortunately - and this feels weird to say, considering this *is* a strip club - the actual dancers came in and the experience worsened. The girls were being really standoffish that night, more interested in each other and goofing off than engaging me or most of the other customers. The dancers on stage were lazy with none matching up to the bartender from earlier and there it was just a boring time. I left for Chez Joey with most of my money still firmly in my pocket. Made sure to tip the bartender though.
