Ripped Off...Terrible Customer Service
Friday night, after midnight. I went with three male friends (all of us young professionals, late 20s). The guys in my group decided to get a table, which we were offered for around $300. Not my thing personally, and not my favorite time to go to a club, but the boys thought it would be fun so I went with it. We had a table in an area that was raised and on the periphery of the club. We were there for a solid 4 hours.
For the amount of money that we spent up front, I would expect management to take care of us and encourage the dancers to come our way and keep the paying customers happy. The entire 4 hours, maybe 4 girls came to our table and they clearly were not the A team, fives to sevens if I had to give them a rating. Decent girls were on the poles at times, no knockouts, but they stayed below on the main floor and never came to us to chat about dances. I felt ignored as a customer.
On top of that, the one dancer who actually made the effort to talk to me and offered a dance ended up ripping me off...AND MANAGEMENT DID NOT EVEN TRY TO WORK WITH ME TO RESOLVE. Here's the story. She sat down next to me at the table and started asking how I was, the usual bs. Then she just came right out and asked if I wanted a dance. Usually I would decline and make a girl work for it, but the fact that this was looking like it would be the only contact for the night, given that we were being ignored, I accepted and figured I'd try it out. She wasn't a talker, not many words were exchanged. I figured I'd get 1 dance and try her out. So she took me to the back booth and I sat on the couch ready for her to do her thing. She proceeded. She said she was a Cuban girl, but looked almost asian to me. So she's giving me a decent dance, not the best I've had but ok, some ass grinding, some roaming hands all over here tits and cheeks. Then she proceeds to straddle me, facing me and just starts humping the air, no grinding on me (lame) but she did put her nipples in my mouth, unbuttoned my shirt etc. For me it's all a useless tease if there's no grinding below the belt. So I was not impressed. She was trying to talk to me in broken English and never understood what I said (always replying back to me with "What?")... useless. She asked me if I wanted to go to champagne room and couldn't give me pricing when I asked what the price would be in response. I then asked her if she ever meets outside of the club instead of the champagne room and she seemed confused. I did this out of curiosity. So she awkwardly puts her clothes on and asks to be paid. It was a VERY quick dance, with few words as mentioned, as she could not speak English. I ask her how much, and she says 2 dances comes to $70. I was outraged and told her I was confused why she's saying 2 dances, as I only heard one song and walked into the room specifically with the intent of only getting one dance. I never heard her ask me if I wanted the second dance. In fact, when she asked me to go to champagne, I told her I'd rather do another dance on top of the first, and that's when she started putting on her clothes. She told me, in broken English, that she had said "continue?" and that I had said "yes", which never happened. And even if it did happen, "continue?" could have meant anything. Why not just say "should we have a second dance?".... so she fails to convince me and says that we should talk to the manager, which we do. So she says something to him in Spanish, which I don't speak fluently but I believe amounted to that I got two dances and didn't pay the full amount, that I only offered $60. (I had offered her 60 instead of the rate for one song, as a compromise, to appease her). The manager says he tracked me for two songs but didn't show me tapes or anything. Just his handwritten sheet. I told him that I only got one dance and spent the other few minutes arguing with her in the room over the second dance that I NEVER GOT. He didn't try to work with me at all and just pointed at his "pencil marks" on the sheet that said I had been in the room for two songs. He didn't want to work with me, the customer, who had already paid hundreds that night.... no attempt on his part. I didn't want to cause a scene and get kicked out, with my boys unaware of the situation, and I only had $20s, so I gave her $80 (which covered the dance that I never received and a tip that she never deserved), and went back to my table overcharged and nowhere near satisfied. I understand misunderstandings happen, BUT THE FACT THAT MANAGEMENT WAS NOT EVEN WILLING TO WORK WITH ME or compromise makes me never want to come back. I legitimately feel like I was scammed and then treated like a lowlife. I guess "the customer is always wrong" here, no exceptions. Spend your money in a different place, that values you as a customer. Do yourself a favor.
