Tips and A Few Things to Know

The Hong Kong Club is a very popular brothel club in Zona Norte that has a clean, modern, high energy atmosphere. The club is very packed on the weekends, at night, where moving around and finding a good place to sit down is challenging. The dancers are generally pretty all week long, but on the weekends, there are more attractive dancers, and probably two or three times more than on the weekdays. Hence, its crowded on the weekends.

What I like to do is find a good place to sit and watch the "scene". If you walk around the main and back floor, you will see a variety of tables and places to sit. The large semi circle tables against the walls are popular with groups and VIP regulars. There are plenty of messeros who are eager to bring you a drink, and are also there quickly to have you buy a drink for any lady who sits with you. The dancer drinks cost $9, and is where the club makes money.

On Fridays and Saturdays, the party and action lasts late into the morning, and doesn't slow down until after 4am. My impression is almost all the dancers are fair, and some are very nice and sweet. Others are reasonably sweet, but are there to make money. They make the most money by going arriba, in the hotel. Recently, most of the dancers are asking $80 to $100 to go arriba. $100 if they are hotter. You can negotiate of course. I have had a dancer or two ask for $125 or more, and they are pushing it, taking advantage of newbies maybe. Its a business transaction of course, so keep that in mind. I had a "bad" experience finally with a dancer on this Sat night around 330am. She was a bit older, probably late 20's or early 30's. She asked for arriba money first in the hotel room, and then cheated with a very short session. Argument after that. So, while not common, there do appear to be a few "sharks" and dishonest dancers in the club, who may be there in the late night early hours, who will scam and cheat customers upstairs.
