I would argue that this club...
I would argue that this club features some of the lovelier dancers of Denver. I paid a recent visit on a Friday night, and traffic was low -- there were maybe 4 or 5 tables occupied, around 15 or so total railbirds, w/ dancers outnumbering customers around 3 to 1. However, the managers kept the stages full, and there were no dancers lolligagging around smacking their gum and chatting w/ each other -- a scourge of the Denver club scene, as one sees this all the time here when traffic is slow. Major point in favor of the club as I took my seat.
I received a great deal of attention, w/ 3 dancers joining me at my table within minutes of my arrival. They all seemed to be very happy at the club -- "this is the nicest gentleman's club in Denver" was the refrain repeated by all 3 -- and they didn't seem to mind the low traffic, as the club is apparently dependant upon business from local conventions (which is primarily a weekday phenomenon).
Unfortunately, the VIP hustle soon became relentless. I got a dance, in part to provide the dancer w/ a break from selling the VIP. The dance featured the usual "Denver grind," but at the lower end of the dancer-to-customer contact spectrum. Furthermore, the room had very little privacy. It was clear, in general, that the dancers at the club enjoyed a low-contact lifestyle (probably another reason why they like it there, LOL), and this was my primary determining factor in not getting a VIP. That said, the overall ambience and experience was good, and if the mood strikes me, I could return for a VIP adventure.
