It’s probably not necessary to say much more about Shotgun Willie’s than has already been said, but I’d like to point out that SW's success is perhaps its main problem. I visited at 7PM on a Sunday evening—a time almost guaranteed to result in an uninspiring evening, with minimal dancers, patrons, and inspiration. But SW was packed with patrons and dancers. The problem was that it was just too crowded. The dancers sped around their respective stages, spending the ten seconds required to collect their tip from each patron. Yes, they were beautiful, but it wasn’t much fun.
