This place is terrible, probably the worst strip club we’ve ever been to.
It’s too bad because it should’ve been one of the best. It’s upscale and near all the downtown hotels and convention center and so could have a very large audience (although it had only about twenty patrons when we visited). There were several small stages (like most of the other clubs of Denver), which I think is an ideal situation, so everyone can get a good view of the dancers. And during our visit, there were girls dancing on four or five of the stages. There’s even a restaurant with a stage in it and a girl was on it when we visited on a Wednesday evening from 10 to 11 PM. And the girls on all the stages were not bad looking.
So what’s so bad about it? Well, it should be pointed out that none of the girls were actually “dancing” or “stripping” in even the most liberal definitions of these terms. One previous reviewer called it “modeling,” but I think he was being far too generous, and a much more accurate term for what they were actually doing might be “loitering.” Each wandered awkwardly from patron to patron around the stage, making utterly dismal and banal conversation, occasionally pausing to take off a piece of their uninspired outfits in the dullest manner imaginable. It seems they fancied themselves brilliant conversationalists. We beg to differ. Large tips with requests that the girl dance were to no avail. Indeed, when someone mentioned very politely to one of the dancers that we all actually came to see her dance, she became offended and, while still on stage, began insulting, pinching, and generally abusing the fellow until he left. A pathetic scene to say the least. As far as we could tell, no one even considered buying a private dance from these jerks, and for good reason.
