It is open 24 hours, but .....

I can't believe I am going to do a moderately negative review on this club. But this is only about one time walking inside. Otherwise, I am a BIG fan of this place.

I"m an East Coast guy. Flew into San Diego on Monday afternoon, took the trolley down and check into the Hotel Cascadas for a couple of nights. Had plenty of fun Monday afternoon and evening. Go to bed about midnight TJ time. That's about 3am EST. But I wake up about 5am TJ time and can't go back to sleep. My body clock has not adjusted. The TV in the room only has a handful of non-spanish channels so I decide to go see what is happening downstairs. Grab a quick shower, shave and get dressed.

I walk into the back of Hong Kong at about 6:30am. The end where the shaving cream shows are was completely empty. The bar stools were up on the bar and they were mopping the floors. I walk upstairs to the mezzanine level and the same thing. Chairs up on the tables as it looked like they had just vacuumed the carpet. I"m actually glad to see that they do clean the place up. The only action was at the main bar and large stage downstairs. No girls dancing on the bars or the small round stage.
