Townie but okay
This is one of those clubs where you really need to be assertive if you aren't a regular and even then the odds are good that you'll be ignored anyway if you want anything other than a stage show. Stopped through on a recent trip up north and spent two hours wathcing the rotation of dancers on stage. There were 10 girls on this night and all of them were friendly with the exception of one pushy older dancer who got offended when I didn't buy a dance from her the minute I walked in. The normal rural bar was pretty busy but it seemed mostly regulars with no one really buying dances despite the weird DJ pushing them in an odd voice after each dancer performed. At the stage the girls were friendly and I thought a bit of extra tipping might get my favorites over to my seat to talk more afterward since no one else was really participating. But then after each set the girls would do a tip walk and settle in next to some townies who weren't buying them drinks or dances. Eventually I asked the prettiest girl, a dark haired dancer who was really cute, for a dance and she seemed surprised. When we got back to the room for the $80 15 minute dance , she asked why I had picked her and said they don't usually sell many dances. I told her it might do her well in the future to not ignore new faces who are more likely than the locals to spend some cash apparently.
