Strike Two For The Day

After not even being able to get a drink at Club Bristol (See That Review Separately) Eve and I headed the 25 miles or so over to The Hardware Store hoping for better.

We arrived about 4 in the afternoon. Inside were 3 or 4 old dudes kinda sitting in various spots around the bar, and I saw 2 dancers, one was on stage in back. At least here we got swift, courteous service at the bar and quenched our thirst a bit. The dancers were a overweight AA girl, and a another, trimmer AA. I've had lots of fun at the Hardware Store on other visits, but I see in the reviews they have had some troubles recently and it seems it has affected their business. Afternoons were pretty much always good here, but it was obvious things have changed. We stuck around for a half hour or so and decided to just head home. The club will be back in time I'm sure, but right now it was pretty dead.
