An odd change will make it hard for dancers to make any real money here
Hit this place on Wednesday evening. Back parking lot was empty, which I've never seen during business hours, and made me wonder if the place was even open. Unfortunately for me, it was.
Against my better judgement, I walked into a bar with one other patron and 8 bored-out-of-their-skulls dancers. (Why they schedule 8 dancers for a Wednesday evening in the middle of the summer is baffling. Should be 3-4, at most.) I should have turned around and left right there, but ordered a beer to justify the drive over. To their credit, a couple of dancers were very friendly and tried to make the best of a crappy situation, but the whole vibe of the place was a mood killer. Finished my beer and left in less than half an hour.
I had heard of some odd changes here recently re: the lap dance booths, and noticed that the curtains are now much thinner - one could say almost sheer - compared to what they once were. From where I sat, it was easy to see the empty chair in one of the booths whose curtain happened to be closed. I don't know if this change has anything to do with the recent problems over at nearby Showplace, but if this change stands it's going to absolutely kill the lap dance business here. If that happens, I don't see how these dancers can make any real money here.
