When I first visited this club,...
When I first visited this club, it was part of the Deja Vu chain, and it had the hottest dancers I had ever seen! It becamse Larry Flynt's Hustler Club a few years back, and although the quality of the dances has slipped a little, it's still a good place to unwind after a hard day in St. Louis.
First and most important: Cost. It's $10 to get in the door, which isn't too bad since there's none of that two-drink minimum nonsense or anything like that. The catch is that it costs $5 to get a VIP wrist band, without which you can't enter the couch and bed booths for private dances. Couch dances will run you $20 (one song), and bed dances cost $30 (again, one song). Two-for-one dances are rare.
Layout and atmosphere: The club has only one big seating area, with a main stage against the back wall and a smaller stage nearer the door. The smaller stage is rarely in use, although sometimes two girls will get up there and dance together when it's a busy night. The lighting is pretty dim, although they make liberal use of black lights and glow-in-the-dark paint to give everything a vague dance club atmosphere. The bar (opposite the main stage) is fairly sizeable, although the TV selection is pretty limited. I don't see too many other guys doing this, but I like to split my strip club time between watching the girls and catching a few innings on TV, so in this respect LFHC falls short.
