the valet price increases as the demand for parking spaces increases. supply/demand $5 in an empty lot, $10 busy, $20 when everyone wants to park there.

don't park across the street or at pep boys. why risk a $75 towing or boot for a measly $10?

on the busy days, especially the weekends, there's an extra security guy to control the crowd capacity. for an extra $20, you go to the front of the line to pay your $5 cover.

if you've been nice to the door girl or cashier (i.e. tipped them previously), they might give the thumbs up to let you cut the line.
