No way bro
Walked in. Pool table immediately to your right; bar in front of you. Beyond pool table is an area where dancers dance - it’s floor level and behind this 3 foot high partition. It gives the appearance that you can’t tip dancers - which is what I assumed having never been here before.
Grabbed a Corona, which set me back $6 + $2 tip. Sat at bar, closer to the dancing area. A dancer approached me and asked if I was a cop. I chuckled and she proceeded to tell me that this was a good club and nothing shady happened. I was sort of dismissive after the cop question. I’m heavily tattooed, long beard, Black T-shirt and jeans. Not sure I give off the cop vibe, but maybe I do. I didn’t get a run down other than my short conversation with the girl. Finished my beer and left. Not sure what the draw is to this club.
5 dancers on shift. 3 of them were surrounding what looked like a regular. Another was with 2 Latino guys. And then my brilliant girl, who thought I was a cop. At that point, I counted my losses ($8) and left.
