I've been to Pink Monkey before. It is a bare bones club. Small with a limited number of dancers, but BYOB and easy to get to, if you are downtown. The bouncers and staff were friendly. The dancers I had were pros. One of them was hot and matched my desired intensity. It was still just a normal club experience though, so I just got hotter under the collar than normal. I paid for some VIP, which was crazy expensive, but that is Chicago VIP from what I've seen.
This place is small and will definitely try to sell VIP hard, as that is where they make money. Not enough people for stage, I think. I think that Admirals probably has the advantage just because late at night, when you would normally be going, it is not hard to get out to it. It has so many more dancers and price/dance options. Though no BYOB there, so a big minus for some.
