great dancers and chill atmosphere
Great place with a good variety of dancers. Predominantly Black with some Latinas and a few white. It is a place where the regular guy hangs out. Compared to the flashy and show off Atlanta clubs, this one is where you can feel comfortable spending $100 or so and not feel like a broke loser compared to others. You will still have a few make it rain, but it is chill atmosphere.
Here is some more details. Lap dances are only $10 and the song length was adequate. Every now and then you get a song cut a little short than it should but most songs are played near the end. As you know with Atlanta clubs it is all hip hop and some uptempo R&B. I'm a bad about catching names but most dancers are very nice and sociable. I had a few long convos with a couple during the lap dance and at the bar about life, college, etc. Drink prices were average priced about $7-10 for the typical cocktail or crown (or whatever whiskey they decide to use) & coke and cover was $15 when I went. Drinks weren't watered down so that is always a plus.
Its ATL so the stage dancers are talented and you will see some great routines and honestly some very athletic moves on the pole. I'm honestly amazed at what some can do with their legs and at Follies they put on a show for sure.
The variety of shapes was good I must say. Plenty of a$$ for sure if that is your preference, some real and some obviously fake. A few on the chubby side but that is to be expected. I always recommend Follies to people visiting Atlanta if they don't want to deal with the overhype and crowding at Onyx or Magic City. Don't let the small looking building fool you, it is decent sized inside. I have only been at night on either friday or Saturday, but I heard the weekday is pretty slow and no where near the quality you get at night.
