Still Worth the Stop
I stopped in early afternoon to the bright pink building that has been the Playhouse for as long as I can remember. The place seemed a bit slow for a Saturday but was not completely dead.
The place has a run-down bar feel to it. Stools line the rectangular bar with an elevated dance floor and three poles in the center. Lights, music, and flat screens make it a bit more interesting. Sports games were being broadcasted on the flat screens. Only one dancer was on stage at a time. The place is a topless only, BYOB joint. I don't drink alcohol so I ordered a bottled water. I saw three or four dancers at a time making their rounds to the patrons at the bar for singles and lap dances. It was fairly low pressure, but the girls stop over for tips after their stage performance or when returning from giving a couch dance.
Private couch dances are $30 per song. I grabbed a lap dance from a Russian dancer, which turned into five lap dances. See was friendly and accommodating. I spent more than I planned but was well entertained during the time I was in the back.
