I have been wanting to try Bare Assets since I became a member on here and found out about it. I’ve not tried up until last night because most of the reviews have said it can be pricey, which I found to be correct. More on that later. I actually did not have the amount of funds that I wanted to have before I went to try it, but I couldn’t help it. First off, my title. My basic needs, a variation of Maslow’s Heirarchy of Needs. My five basic needs, in this order, Beautiful naked women, Bourbon, Cigars, Food and Drink (other than bourbon), and sleep. I visited BA last night, and my top three basic needs were thoroughly met. I went with about $200, took my own cigar. $7 cover, $16 for a double of Jameson (neat), another $16 for a Jameson ( because my dumbass knocked my first off of the table), $15 for a cigar because mine was ruined, $9 for a single of Jameson, $15 for three Jell-O shots (one for each of the two dancers sitting with me and one for the waitress), $80 for two dances, and the other $43 in tips to dancers and wait staff. So, naked women, bourbon, and cigars all met. The bourbons were average price from other places I have drank at, including restaurants and bars. Cigar also average price, can’t complain on either of those fronts. Jell-O shots for the girls, again can’t complain because it was never implied that I had to buy them drinks. Cover charge is normal. However, the dances are a bit expensive and they do it a little different there than what I am used to. For a single song dance it is $40 and you pay the bouncer before you go into a room, the only money you give the dancer is a tip because she gets a portion of the charge at the front. So, I chose a dancer we went back, I paid $40, I was lucky that they were not busy and she took me to the 15 min executive room which is usually $120. However, I did do her a solid and paid another $40 for one more dance. The dance was exceptional. I asked for no extras, it definitely got them. As for looks she was a 6.5, as for how much she rocked my world, a good 8. The other dancers I will rate by appearance, personality, stage dancing, and pushiness. The rating is 70% looks, 20% personality, and the other 10% between stage dancing and pushiness with the latter being about 2%. The range is from 3-9. Most ladies were an average of 7 on looks and a 7 on personality. Only a few were kind of pushy. Overall the place was extremely laid back and VERY fun. I think because it seemed like the dancers were always around on the floor. Most were spending time with customers being VERY friendly and not being pushy. The other reason is the way a few of them interacted with each other. There was one dancer that was all over the place, up on the side of the stage with another dancer, walk around making customers laugh, and once she walked by and grabbed my hair at the top and pulled a little, being rough but not too rough, haha, she never even stopped and turned around. I loved it. Okay, I need to bring this review to an end, although I could write at least another chapter. Overall, I absolutely loved the place. The ambience was fantastic, very laid back, very fun, and a very minute amount of the ladies were pushy and even then there was very little annoyance for me. Scarlett’s of Ybor will remain a favorite of mine, but Bare Assets takes top spot, I only wish it were closer than an hour and a half. So, Scarlett’s when I have the funds and urge to go, but not enough funds or time to go to Bare Assets, and Bare Assets vice versa. Three basic needs MET!!
