Not sure why this is even considered a strip club anymore

I happened to be driving south on Mannheim Road nearing Lake and looked to my right -- to my shock and awe saw cars in the parking at Playpen. I have to say, years ago, I remember having had some fun here. I thought I would stop for a cold one and see what was going on. Upon entering, I was shocked to hear lively conversation occurring around the bar at the back of the room. I say hear because my eyes were fucked up and I kind of couldn't see clearly. Striding forward confidently, I ordered a beer from the customary big-tittied aging barmaid.

One sip later, settling in to my barstool, my eyes adjusted from the light outside to the dark inside -- that's when I counted 9, that's 9, other PLs in this dump -- every one of us sipping a beer, with NO women other than Auntie Barkeep. Not even sports on a TV -- a Telemundo soap opera or something. WTF? Average age of each PL was over 60 and probably not a healthy liver in the room (other than my own, I hope). I felt like I was in a time warp tavern.

1/2 a beer later, 1 female arrived from the back, seated herself in the stool nearest the back room to the right of the bar and ordered a beer. This seemed promising until observing that she never once looked up from her phone to make eye contact with any one of the 9 of us. She spoke to no one and no one spoke to her other than Charo.
