Ugh

Cocktails is located in a small, kind of shabby looking strip mall on the outskirts of town. There is plenty of free parking out front. There were only a few cars in the lot for my 3:00 p.m. visit. Just past the front door there is a small anteroom with a counter, but it wasn’t manned and no cover was being charged.

There are two ways out of the anteroom. To the left is door with a “VIP” sign. I never went in there. To the right is the main club area. The club actually looks pretty nice. It looks like it has been remodeled recently and appears much nicer than you would expect from the exterior of the building. The small main stage is immediately to your left as you enter the club area from the anteroom. Past that, along the back wall is the bar, booths along the wall opposite the bar, tables and chairs in between. I think there is also smaller satellite stage in the seating area.

I went to the bar and ordered a beer, about $4. There were three other customers in the place, all older white PLs, two at the bar, one sitting at the table. There were three dancers. One was a 5ish, twenty something, petite Latina looking girl sitting with one of the guys at the bar. Things went down from there. There was a large blonde sitting with the guy at the table that looked like she was about 50 years old, and another large, lumpy looking blonde, probably in her late twenties or early thirties sitting at the bar.
